BWPT-50-RC Bullwheel Puller/Tensioner with integral Reel Carrier

A multi purpose machine for use both re-conductoring existing power lines or on new construction.

The extremely durable EPDM wheel lining and nylon 66 fairlead rollers can handle abrasive steel static and corroded aluminum conductors with a minimum of wear over. Set up as a rope pulling machine, line pulls in excess of 4 miles at a constant speed and tension can be acheived.

Hydraulic systems: Twin independent hydrostatic for bullwheel and reel drives. Auxilllary pump for level wind, stabilisers and reel lift.

Bullwheels: 50" diameter at bottom of groove/replaceable bolt on lining /open reeved.

Stabilisers: Three heavy duty hydraulic. Box type to prevent bending from side loading.

Suspension: Tandem 9K axles with leaf springs and equalizers.

Tires: 235R17.5 Load Range H

Options: Hydraulic rear jacks (Hydraulic front jack standard). Power control to remote jacks or trailers for control of multiple conductor reels.

BWPT-50-SL incorporates hydraulic lift arms for loading and unloading reels.

BWPT-50-SK skid version is designed for insallation on truck chassis.
