BWPT-39-RC Bullwheel Puller/Tensioner with integral Reel Carrier
A multi purpose machine for use both re-conductoring existing power lines or on new construction.
The extremely durable EPDM wheel lining and nylon 66 fairlead rollers can handle abrasive steel and old corroded aluminum conductors with a minimum of wear.
When used as the pulling machine, a constant line speed and pulling force is maintained from start to finish.
Conductor can exit from front or to rear of machine.
Features:
Works equally at both ends of the tension stringing operation as either a puller or a tensioner.
Twin independent hydrostatic power systems, the larger system powers bull wheels while smaller powers reel drive.
Reel drive can be operated as totally independently system for high speed retrieval of slack conductor or rope.
Operator station located to provide optimum visibility and safety both forward and aft.
Conductor may exit either direction from machine.
Open reeved bull wheels enable mid span removal or installation of a conductor or pulling line.
Hydraulic operated leveling arm. (Optional automatic reversing available)
