2HBT Bundle Bullwheel Tensioners and 2BWPT Puller-Tensioners both use hydraulics for smooth controlled tensioning. The diesel powered 2BWPT are hydrostatic and can be used to both pull and tension conductors. Two identical units, one operating as the puller and one as the tensioner make reconductoring on existing transmission lines much simpler. Optional power systems enable remote control of conductor tensioning / rewind stands or trailers. Standard features include fail-safe brakes, centralized controls and Line Pull Limiting.

The 2HBT tensioners use hydrualic pressure to maintain constant tensions on conductors. A small engine provides power for initial conductor reeving and haul back.
